MYSTERIES REVEALED: Dreams are KEY to…
“Dreams are the KEY to Implementing Wisdom”
That is what I heard the Lord speak to me upon waking, so I asked the Lord “could it also be that wisdom is the key to implementing dreams?” Now as I write I am reminded of turning verses around to glean more understanding from them.
So, that said….dreams are the key to implementing wisdom and wisdom is the key to implementing dreams.
That’s like two keys as I write this I see one inside the other.
Dreams are a parable in the night…a message to the dreamer of something the Father is saying to them and HIS Wisdom is the KEY to understanding the full meaning of the dream or even a vision.
HIS Wisdom comes through a revelational understanding gleaned only by His Spirit “revealing” the hidden meaning. Wisdom then comes in through Holy Spirit to teach a person HOW to implement the dream or vision. Once the revelation has opened the door of understanding, wisdom reveals the implementation.
This is “connecting the dots” and it can only come through the Wisdom of God.
There is a “divine understanding” that comes with a child like belief and its called “Faith”.
This understanding is the “glue” of connecting a mind to the mind of Christ Jesus (the Anointed ONE). This is basic “cause and effect” where the person gleaning from the mind of Christ Jesus begins to respond differently and obeys out of a place of love and understanding that doesn’t always make “mental sense” to our mind at first. We love, therefore we do.
At some point this love grows into maturity and becomes “one” even as they are one, like in a marriage when the two become one. Mature love is a relationship and then that person or persons begin to think alike. It is where a person, child of God lives out of relationship instead of a servant mentality “doing to please”.
When people marry they physically become one but to truly “become one”, takes time.
When we receive the anointing of having JESUS in our lives HIM….we change and now we are one with Him and the Father and Holy Spirit….but…..the “becoming one” WITH Them in thought and action is a process and this never makes anyone “god” what it simply means is that we learn to “think differently”, being “heavenly minded” instead of earthly minded.
In order to think differently, we first have to choose it and soon there is a supernatural transformation that takes place IN that process!
Dreams are often a major way of teaching us about communication with our Heavenly Father as is with visions.
They are connected with seeing into the supernatural realm and understanding prophesy as well. Prophets dream…God said HE speaks to His prophets through dreams and visions.
His SPIRIT lives inside and the anointing of Jesus Christ is there in every believer so…why would He NOT speak to HIS children in dreams and visions?
Prophets are supposed to help people understand and learn to interpret and connect the dots so that people can grow and mature into the what? “ONENESS of the Faith”.
It is in Ephesians…read it.
From The Prophet’s Dictionary by Dr. Paula Price “Dreams visually communicate sleepers’ activities and sentiments or desires. They do so by mentally displaying submerged thoughts, ideas, or activities buried within the dreamer. When prophetically spurred, dreams and messages and information conveyed by the Lord, or His spiritual agencies such as the prophetic’s dream angel. These take form of prophetic dreams where the dreamer is told or shown something while asleep that pertains to or affects his or her waking sphere of life. The prophetic dream distinguishes itself because it uses language, symbolism, and vernacular unique to the dreamer relevant to their waking life or everyday existence. Often these dreams, while they may be sentimentally triggered, have no emotional tie to the dreamer. This is because they are to transmit information to the dreamer not ordinarily or easily received while awake.”
Dreams activate to create.
The Lord can plant a “dream” in the deep recesses of your heart but not activate this until you receive a “prophetic word” or a “dream” about it. We are all created for a unique purpose, each individual made integrally different, even twins have different “finger-prints”.
Dreams are just as unique, specifically designed to fit an individual and reaches their innermost being.
Because the Heavenly Father our Father is THE Creator, then inside each of His children is the image of Himself that “creates” things. Holy Spirit activates and brings about through His power that which IS created that is something from the Mind of our Heavenly Father within us!
We are made to be “creative” in other words….and deep inside us are ideas, inventions, but that part of us is not activated with HIS idea or plan because it must come about according to HIS time and HIS will. That is when HE drops it into our minds through Holy Spirit inside us, often through a dream! IF we just started making things without being repentant having a renewed heart and mind, it would be for the wrong reasons and not His will NOR His way!
Remember, what we are given is always for the greater good of all, not just for us only. JESUS lived a life for the “greater good of all” because it was the Father’s will. So He was obedient to that plan even to His death, burial and glorious resurrection!
IF we “dream a dream” and just build according to what seems right….then it is quite possible we are doing that “way that seems right to a man that ends in death”. Death of the dream or even the dreamer depending on what it is they are doing.
Dreams teach.
Often when someone is perplexed about a matter they seek counsel, yet even when given wise counsel they are unable to “receive” it from that person for one reason or another. OR maybe they receive counsel that is not good or wise, perhaps they have some “friends” like Job did. Either way, when counsel is given, and it is right or they are uncertain, often that person will dream.
They have no idea about their dreams and may not even write them down when it is in fact the Lord communicating prophetically to them to help them learn.
They may learn who they should trust in for wise counsel, or who not to rely on for any counsel. They may learn that what someone has given them IS wise counsel and the dream undergirds what was shared.
They may learn that what they need is something entirely different than that which they are seeking and it may seem miles away from the thing they are wishing for or hoping for and yet it is, in the dream, the way they should go.
In this case, the Lord is training them to “lean into Him” and ask for a dream to help them learn and be guided. To learn HOW to interpret dreams so they can know things for them, and maybe for others as well.
Dreams Warn.
Dreams in so many scriptures have served to warn the individual as well as kings and nations. Just read Daniel if you want to experience HOW they can serve to “warn” especially the story of King Nebacanedezzar.
SO many in our day in time are dreaming dreams that have a prophetic warning in them however, if the dreamer has not been trained in this nor have they the maturity in relationship with the Lord as more than a servant…meaning walking as a friend and in divine “relationship” WITH the Lord, then the unction is to give grave warning of impending destruction’s.
This is often a “doom and gloom” mentality that masks itself to sound “religious” when while the dream is accurate it is NOT being shared properly, nor out of the heart of the Father.
THIS is what brings dissension and confusion in the body of Christ and for those not yet believers or followers of Jesus!
A word spoken in the right time, the right way can make a world of difference, for the good…IF it is actually done in the RIGHT WAY.
ALWAYS throughout scriptures when a warning comes, there is a solution to the issue or matter at hand. So, when a dreamer dreams of bombs going off and mass destruction and they take it into their soulish thinking, then we will hear of how the Lord is going to judge ….you can fill in the blank.
The way to interpret a dream is to find out the meaning which can only come through Holy Spirit by revelation with HIS Wisdom that brings understanding! When a dream is then interpreted, the next matter is “how is it implemented” and without the Wisdom of God, there is no real solution that is given.
Wisdom brings solution. Daniel was able to interpret dreams very accurately because he was wise in the matters of dreams, he spent hours in prayer asking the Lord about these things before just blurting them out as Joseph did. Joseph was rejected by his kin (brothers)because he had NO filter and not trained yet in his dreaming. While this was the Lord’s plan to train him, I would suggest perhaps it was because Joseph might have been a little cocky or slightly arrogant? He was honed by God while in slavery before he was raised up to lead as his dreams had shown him.
Before giving what you may believe to be a “warning” from God, make sure that you have the GOD solution as well!! Jesus was the most positive, influential Person that has ever lived and HE was NEVER doom and gloom! Think on that! NOR did He ever bless or approve of destruction of any kind!
Deuteronomy 13:1-5 gives insight about this:
“If a prophet arises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,2 And the sign or the wonder he foretells to you comes to pass, and if he says, Let us go after other gods—gods you have not known—and let us serve them, 3 You shall not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being. 4 You shall walk after the Lord your God and [reverently] fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cling to Him. 5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has talked rebellion and turning away from the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage; that man has tried to draw you aside from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So shall you put the evil away from your midst.”
How is this applicable? NOT all “dreams” come from God and they can be misleading as soulish or even demonic in nature.
Colors or lack of, can be a strong indicator as to whether or not GOD has given the dream. EVEN SO, to accurately interpret and share, one must be able to recognize what spirit it’s coming from. IF a person is wounded in their spirit OR unbelieving OR self-centered there will be inaccurate interpretation and implementation involved. Same goes with prophesying over someone else a word a person may or may not be hearing from God.
What is the solution? BE transformed BY the Word! This involves not only confession of being wrong or in unbelief, or just outright sin…but also and very importantly….REPENTANCE! That means a transformation of HOW one thinks turning in a different direction from where they had thought, then going in the RIGHT paths of thinking which results in doing and speaking right things.
It is important how one handles dreams, turn to Daniel 7:1-2,7,13,15-16.
“In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions in his head as he was lying upon his bed. Then he wrote down the dream and told the gist of the matter.
2 Daniel said, I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the heavens [political and social agitations] were stirring up the great sea [the nations of the world].” “7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold…” “13 I saw in the night visions, and behold…” “15 As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved and anxious within me, and the visions of my head alarmed and agitated me. 16 I came near to one of those who stood there and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of the things.”
Apparently there are angels assigned to even help us understand a dream and angels give us messages as well so why wouldn’t they be sent to help us with visions and dreams?
Genesis 40:8 “8 And they said to him, We have dreamed dreams, and there is no one to interpret them. And Joseph said to them, Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me [your dreams], I pray you.”
Daniel 2:1-49
“27 Daniel answered the king, The [mysterious] secret which the king has demanded neither the wise men, enchanters, magicians, nor astrologers can show the king, 28 But there is a God in heaven Who reveals secrets…”
This tells us that the LORD will even tell us things that only that person knows and has not revealed to anyone. We call that “word of knowledge”.
Daniel was a prophet and a dreamer, he had an excellent spirit and all kinds of knowledge and understanding
“17 As for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all [kinds of] visions and dreams.”
There are many more things we will talk about concerning dreams but for now….perhaps we need to “ask” the Lord to give us knowledge, skill and learning with wisdom and understanding in all visions and dreams.
