LIFE UPGRADE!
Jesus came fully as a man and fully as the Son of God! Why is this so significant beloved?
Everything He did, He chose to do “as a man” because He laid down everything to demonstrate to humans that our Heavenly Father loves His creation! To show mankind His power over the evil and evil one and how to overcome and that HE had a plan from the beginning that many thought they knew would look like and while it did, He came differently than they expected. NOT riding in on a horse to have a military takeover in an earthly sense. HE came to have a take over all right but it begins in the unseen realm and manifests in the natural one. HE came as a man to show us how it was to be done.
Here is what Paul said about Jesus in Philippians 2:5-7
“5 Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility], 6 who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it]; 7 but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man].”
Jesus revealed that interaction with heaven was possible and that includes demonstration of a superior realm (heaven) over an inferior realm (earth) as well as over hell and the demonic hordes and even the devil himself who has never been equal to JESUS or GOD our Heavenly Father OR Holy Spirit!!
By Jesus’s demonstration of miracles, signs, wonders, healings He revealed to those who would believe and follow Him that this was what a normal lifestyle on earth should look like! In other words, our Heavenly Father’s will… “on earth…AS it is in Heaven”!
He demonstrated HIS authority over the enemy to destroy the enemy’s work and how to do it. He demonstrated it over weather, demons in people and in a personal interaction with satan himself. He utterly demolished the fear of death at the cross! The list of everything He did could not even be written in our bible as John said in the last chapter of the book he wrote:
John 21:24-25
“24 This is the same [g]disciple who is testifying to these things and has recorded them; and we know [without any doubt] that his testimony is true. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were recorded [h]one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.”
One of the things Jesus did that is not often taught is to explain the Word and by doing so to reveal the heart of our Heavenly Father to mankind He created!
Matthew 5:17 from One New Man Bible
“Do not think I came to do away with, or to bring an incorrect interpretation to, the Torah, or the Prophets: I did not come to do away with, but to bring spiritual abundance, for the Torah (The Teaching)to be obeyed as it should be and God’s promises to receive fulfillment.”
Jesus said in His sermon on the Mt. in Matthew 5:5:
“Blessed, deeply contented are the meek (humble) for they shall inherit the earth!”
Why is this significant?
He was about to fulfill the promise laid out in Psalms 37:11
“11 But the meek [in the end] shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”
That word “meek” ânâv ‛ânâyv in Hebrew means depressed in mind and circumstance…and JESUS brought the revelation and answer to these verses:
Psalms 37:9-11 is the promise and JESUS the fulfillment! Here it is beloved…Matthew 11:25-30
“25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth [I openly and joyfully acknowledge Your great wisdom], that You have hidden these things [these spiritual truths] from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants [to new believers, to those seeking God’s will and purpose]. 26 Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. 27 All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son [deliberately] wills to reveal Him.
28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”
Remember, Jesus brought understanding to the Torah (Teaching).
The “meek” would be freed from depression and hopelessness or discouragement by Jesus overcoming and triumphing in all HE did!
That word “meek” meaning in OT Hebrew was same as in Matthew 5, humbled by circumstances leaving a depressed situation or mindset and because they remained faithful in all that was put upon them either in mindset or situations and circumstnaces..they were considered faithful! So, when JESUS said it, HE was referring to those who endure because they believe (remember, believe in Hebrew means a mindset of complete trust as well as action that follows suit to the belief) in HIM and ALL that was taught by Him and demonstrated by Him; just as those who before He came believed and held out in faith!
Take time to read of those ones in Hebrews 11 the chapter of the “walk of faith”.
Heavy burdens and hard yokes are not from the Lord. JESUS calls us to give them to HIM and take HIS on!
The heart must be soft and pliable to be reformed, transformed, recreated and remolded in order to receive revelation that brings Truth and kicks out all false doctrine or destructive mindsets. Mind you…a destructive mindset is any mindset that is not like the mind of Christ! Because it goes against the purposes of God, His will and plan!
THE MEEK….shall inherit the earth! Those who are delivered from depressive thinking that holds them captive, delivered from a life of defeat, discouragement, and hopelessness because THEY are overcomers! THEY are the remnant who hold to FAITH in Him! THEY believe as in DO as in faith is action not just verbally acknowledging ones intent to trust or do!
They overcome by the Blood of the Lamb that has redeemed and saved/rescued them from eternal damnation and hell and overcome by the Word of His testimony that is THEIR testimony in every aspect of their lives!
THESE are the humble in heart, not wimps, not overburdened but the strong ones! They love without offense, give without hesitation, hope with childlike eager anticipation of Heavenly Father’s response, and have joy that is incomprehensible in situations and circumstances in their lives and around them that others long to have! They walk in tranquility that actually draws people to them and have wisdom of God that brings “light” in dark places and revelation of the nature of Jesus and Heavenly Father that only comes through Holy Spirit which is by an amazing relationship with Them!
They are not fearful to demonstrate the supernatural power of GOD that has been given to them! (See II Timothy as in power=dunamis means miraculous power)
THESE are the ones who are learning to work with Heaven to take over earth GOD’S way! After all…the earth was given to man and now we have been given power because OF JESUS to do what the Father had originally intended TO do! HIS PLAN…HIS WAY!
Let go of unnecessary burdens or yokes that put you in a place of “depression” or “discouragement” how?
Lose them from your soul in Jesus name! IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE this works…guess what? Without faith, its impossible to be pleasing to our Father in Heaven and you my not see much result. Faith dear ones…begins with choice!
CHOOSE as Joshua said THIS DAY Who you will serve! CHOOSE to believe even if your mind has not yet wrapped around the whole idea. THAT is okay because by doing out of choice and putting into your mind right things of God…your mind will be transformed. REPROGRAMMED by Holy Spirit. YOU can invite HIM to help you be reprogrammed in your night season:
“I praise the Lord because he taught me well. Even at night he put his instructions deep inside my mind.” Psalms 16:7 ERV
Ask Him! Make sure you are asking because you really desire to KNOW Him and how to operate! I say this because sometimes people will say to me, “oh I do ask and nothing happens”. My response is what is in your heart regarding what you are asking?!
“2 You want things, but you don’t get them. So you kill and are jealous of others. But you still cannot get what you want. So you argue and fight. You don’t get what you want because you don’t ask God. 3 Or when you ask, you don’t receive anything, because the reason you ask is wrong. You only want to use it for your own pleasure.” James 4:2-3 ERV
Remember a childlike heart is not asking out of jealousy of others for what they have or walk in, nor of such things that are wrong motives and BTW “killing” others in this case is when there is character assassination by slander, back biting and gossip or false accusations and criticisms and judgement!
ASK and keep on asking, knock and keep on knocking, seek and keep on seeking….our Father is loving and wants to bless us more than we want blessings! HE LOVES US! Bear this in mind when you are feeling “depressed” in mind and/ or circumstance and CHOOSE to lose it from your soul, give to JESUS and HE will give you rest and awesome things that bring pleasure and delight to your heart! HE must be the focus, not the desire for “stuff”…remember what HE said:
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these ‘things’ will be added to you!”
