P.I.F. (Sin Debt Cancellation)
On this Memorial Day, I awoke realizing we need to not just remember all the wonderful soldiers have done but to remember the greatest sacrifice of ALL mankind and what HE…JESUS CHRIST did! That said…
This morning I heard a speaker say “people don’t go to hell because of sin because the sin debt is paid.” They went on to say… “People go to hell because the rejected Jesus.” Alluding to the plan that cancelled sin.
NOW…while there is major revelation in this statement we cannot negate what the Word says about sin, “the wages OF sin is death”.
This would be a great place to debate, or destroy the character of another leader if “religion” were to get hold of this message I am about to share with you…so let me put you at ease beloved…the leader who shared this DID have some accurate revelation from what I have read, learned and experienced in the Word. This is not to say by any stretch that I know everything, no…I don’t!
Here is the kicker, we must learn how to balance wisdom and revelation and the only way any of us can do this, is by Holy Spirit. IF you don’t have a good relationship with Him, it will be difficult to “discern” things and thereby making you receptive to incorrect or even false doctrines….as well as “humanism” which is a rampant philosophy of our day and time.
Wisdom says, what does the Word of GOD say about this matter of who will go to hell?
Read through the things Jesus said about it, what did Paul speak of with the revelation he was given as well as Peter, James, John, Matthew, Mark, Luke who wrote of things JESUS did and said.
What did Heavenly Father say to Moses? How did David perceive it?
I think you get the picture here….sin equals death and hell.
Here is the balance to what the leader shared this morning… YES Jesus paid for EVERYONE’S DEBT OF SIN!!! THAT IS TRUTH!
AND YES…those who “choose” to reject what HE did are rejecting JESUS! Here is the slight difference in what was said…by rejecting JESUS, a person is CHOOSING SIN, to keep the debt instead of walking in the freedom of a debt that has been paid and cancelled for them, if only they CHOOSE JESUS!
Can you “see” the difference beloved?
The enemy can take any nuance and form an incorrect doctrine if we don’t seek out Truth for ourselves with Holy Spirit leading and teaching us. IT IS WHY…even when the most anointed teacher, prophet or apostle teaches or speaks a word or message (including pastors and evangelists as well) that YOU….ask Holy Spirit to take what you heard and “teach YOU” and give YOU revelation of that message and seek truth without judging the one God sent! DID YOU HEAR THAT PART???
WITHOUT judging the messenger, the speaker whom GOD sent to share the word or message!
Learning to listen with true discernment is being able to listen in love and truth without judging or being suspicious of the one sharing.
Judge the message not the messenger in other words! Leave that up to the Heavenly Father to deal with if ever that messenger is in complete error or in sin. That is HIS job, not ours!!
IN fact, our job in that instance is NOT to jump on a ban wagon and bash them but rather to pray for them, love them and ask the Lord to surround them with loving mothers and fathers who can bring healing, restoration and truth to them in kind loving corrective measures.
BACK to the point here…
PEOPLE go to hell because THEY CHOOSE TOO!!! Did you hear me beloved??!!
PEOPLE GO TO HELL why? Because THEY….CHOOSE TOO!!!
God our Heavenly Father doesn’t “send people to hell”, they CHOOSE to go there!
THEY can choose JESUS and the will and plan of Heavenly Father FREELY….which means “sin debt cancellation” forever so they can reap life here and life eternally; and all the many other benefits that come with “choosing JESUS”!!! *see Psalms 103*
Bottom line here it is in scripture for the “inquiring minds”:
Romans 6:23 “23 For what one earns from sin is death; but eternal life is what one receives as a free gift from God, in union with the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.” From the Complete Jewish Bible
Same verse from Amplified “23 For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Colossians 2:10-15 AMP “10 And in Him you have been made complete [achieving spiritual stature through Christ], and He is the head over all rule and authority [of every angelic and earthly power]. 11 In Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but by the [spiritual] circumcision of Christ in the stripping off of the body of the flesh [the sinful carnal nature], 12 having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God, [as displayed] when He raised Christ from the dead. 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (worldliness, manner of life), God made you alive together with Christ, having [freely] forgiven us all our sins, 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of legal demands [which were in force] against us and which were hostile to us. And this certificate He has set aside and completely removed by nailing it to the cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross.”
I suggest to read ALL of Colossians 1 as well as the above verses to get a clearer picture of the meaning of what it is to receive JESUS and be a benefactor of ALL HE has done for us!
IN fact, study Ephesians and Colossians this summer and take time in it, not just “reading through” but asking Holy Spirit for revelation with understanding.
WE have been set free from the sin debt and all its effects beloved if we humans have truly received JESUS!
BTW…you don’t get Jesus in portions! He is not JUST your Savior, HE is your Healer, Deliverer, Protector, Provider, Shepherd, and much, much more! IF you received HIM….you got the whole benefit package beloved ones!
